Series History: NDC traveled to Elkins, W.Va. for a matchup with the Senators on April 3 and the Falcons split the doubleheader with the Senators. These two teams first met in 2014, but did not start playing in the same conference until 2021. The Falcons hold an all-time record of 6-4 against the Senators. Notre Dame dropped a pair of games to Charleston on April 16, and now have a record of 4-15 against the Golden Eagles, since 2014. NDC went 1-3 versus West Liberty, in 2023, and have an all-time record of 19-17 against the Hilltoppers.

Noting the Falcons: Notre Dame had a busy end to its season last week, going 2-6 over eight games. The Falcons were able to clinch the No. 2 seed in the North Division by winning the tie-breaker with three-seed Frostburg State. NDC has gone 4-0 this season against Frostburg.

The two-seed is the highest that Notre Dame has ever been in a Mountain East Conference tournament.

This season, Notre Dame finished the regular season with the most total wins in a season, and the best conference record, in the program's Division II era. The team is looking for its first 30-win season since 2009.

Danielle Fick is second in NDC single-season history with 22 stolen bases. Started the year 22-22, before being thrown out in the final game of the regular season. Fick ranks fourth in the MEC in that category. Emma Gumont is fifth in the MEC with 48 RBI on the season. Gumont leads the team with a .339 batting average, 59 hits, six home runs, 48 RBI, 91 total bases and a .523 slugging percentage.
