EDINBORO, Pa. – The Notre Dame College swimming and diving team traveled to Edinboro University on Friday Oct. 27 to compete in a non-conference dual meet. The Falcons fell on both sides, 166-63 for the women and 148-63 for the men.
Sophomore
Luis Aguilar Delgado paced the Falcons with a pair of first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (48.86) and 200-yard IM (2:02.14). Aguilar Delgado secured 18 points for the NDC men as he bested a trio of Fighting Scots during both events.
Freshman Josh Stokes picked up another first place finish for Notre Dame in the 100-yard butterfly. The Destrehan, La. native edged out EU's Braden Hain by .12 seconds a time of 56.71.
The Notre Dame College swimming and diving team will be back in action on Friday and Saturday Nov. 10 and 11 as the Falcons head to West Virginia Wesleyan and Davis & Elkins for back-to-back GMAC-MEC dual meets, marking the start of the conference season.
