TIFFIN, Ohio – On Saturday, Notre Dame College took on Lake Erie College and Tiffin University, at the Regional Duals hosted by Tiffin. The Falcons put together a late comeback against Lake Erie, but came up just short in a 30-21 loss. NDC fell to Tiffin, 40-3.
 
NDC, LEC and TU all entered the weekend receiving votes in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Poll.
 
Against the Storm, Notre Dame was behind early after a couple individual losses. At 157 lbs., Cale Hoskinson began to bring the Falcons back with a very close 1-0 victory over Brady O'Conner. Hoskinson had checked in at No. 11 in the latest national rankings. Three late forfeits pulled NDC back within nine, but it was too late.
 
Against Tiffin, NDC's Rodney Winston Jr. was matched up against Iran Love at 184 lbs. The two went to an overtime period, but Love was able to sneak past with a 3-2 win for TU. At heavyweight, No. 11 ranked La'Ron Parks battled No. 12 Clayton Ours. Parks was victorious with a 3-1 decision.
 
Notre Dame will travel to West Liberty University for a tri-match against Wheeling University and the No. 4 ranked Hilltoppers, on Jan. 21.
