ST. LOUIS, Mo. – On Friday, Notre Dame College's Logan Hall and La'Ron Parks hit the mats at the Chaifetz Arena. Hall was able to grab a couple of wins on Friday afternoon and evening at 184, while Parks ran into some tough competition at heavyweight.

Hall was set up in the preliminary bracket, but would suffer an early loss to Northern State's Treyton Cacek in his first bout of the day. The Falcons' grappler put together an upset against No. 10 ranked Matt Weinberg (Kutztown) with an 8-6 decision. Hall also took down UNC Pembroke's Jovaun Johnson by major decision in the first round of the consolation bracket. His day came to an end against Southwest Minnesota State's Caden Steffen in a close 3-1 decision.

La'Ron Parks went up against No. 5 Ian Kuehl, of McKendree, in round one. After falling in that matchup, Parks and Lander's Cameron Coffman were locked in a tight battle. NDC's sophomore heavyweight trailed Coffman 3-1 after two periods. Parks fought back to tie the match at three, early in the third period, but a takedown put Coffman back in front. The Lander grappler took the 7-5 win over Parks.

Logan Hall, 184 lbs. – Lost to Treyton Cacek (Northern State) by decision (7-1) in the prelims… Defeated Matt Weinberg (Kutztown) by decision (8-6) in the prelims… Defeated Jovaun Johnson (UNC Pembroke) by major decision (12-2) in consolation round one… Lost to Caden Steffen (Southwest Minnesota State) by decision (3-1) in the consolation round two.

La'Ron Parks, 285 – Lost to Ian Kuehl (McKendree) by fall (5:16) in round one… Lost to Cameron Coffman (Lander) by decision (7-5) in the consolation round one.
