ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Notre Dame College swimming and diving team traveled South and competed against Division III University of Mount Union on Friday evening. NDC flashed several moments of brilliance, but it was UMU who came out victorious, 147-113 on the women's side and 152-110 on the men's side.
Several Falcons touched the wall first on Friday evening, leading the way for Notre Dame was
Ashton Smith who swam in and won all four of his events against the Purple Raiders.
Jaybreona Foster paced the women's team with three individual event victories.

FROSTBURG, MD – On Saturday afternoon, Notre Dame entered the water for the final time before the GMAC/MEC Championships which are scheduled for Feb. 16-19. On this occasion, the Falcons were matched up against the Frostburg State Bobcats for a GMAC/MEC dual meet. Notre Dame reigned victorious on the men's side 134-127, while FSU claimed the women's matchup 157-101.
Once again, numerous NDC Falcons earned first-place finishes during the meet, with
Ashton Smith and
Garrett Warren leading the team with four apiece.
Courtney Ledbetter was the top performer for the women's team as she scored two gold medal finishes.

Notre Dame College will hit the postseason and swim next at the GMAC/MEC Championships scheduled for Feb. 16-19 in Canton, Ohio at the C.T. Branin Natatorium. The NDC men's swimming and diving team will be defending their back-to-back Mountain East Conference championships from the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
