Coaches Corner: Imani Gordon is in her first season as head coach of the Notre Dame women's basketball team after serving as an assistant coach since the 2017-18 season. Gordon posts a career record of 3-3. Kim Stephens is in her sixth season as head coach of the Glenville State program with a career record of 123-20. Kenny Osborne is currently in his 22
nd season with Concord, with a career record of 302-317.

Rankings: Glenville State College is currently seated No. 9 in the WBCA Poll, while NDC and CU are unranked.

Series History: NDC is 2-16 all-time when facing GSC, dating back to their first meeting in 2013-14. On the other hand, the Falcons are 13-2 all-time when playing against CU since 2013-14.

Noting the Falcons: Notre Dame is coming off a week in which they went 1-1 after winning at home against West Liberty on Tuesday and falling in overtime on Saturday to Slippery Rock on the road. On Tuesday,
Alana Ellis led all scorers with a career-high 28 points on 10-16 from the field.
Tamia Ridley grabbed 11 rebounds in a double-double effort as
Lilee Carlson totaled a team-high three assists. The Falcons would go on to win 74-70 in a contest that was tied nine times and featured 11 different lead changes. On Friday, NDC fell narrowly to the Rock in overtime 77-71. Ellis paced the Falcons once more with 17 points, followed by
Jen Oduho (16),
Amil Ali-Shakir (15) and
Jada Marone (14) who also scored double figures. Marone and
Emma Martcheva grabbed a team-leading seven rebounds apiece, as Marone also led NDC with five assists.

With Marone back from injury, the All-American jump starts this Falcon lineup that features four players averaging double digits on the season. Ellis is the team leader at 18.5 points per game, followed by Oduho (15.0 ppg), Marone (14.5 ppg) and Carlson (10.8 ppg). Ellis' 18.5 ppg is currently the second-best mark in the Mountain East Conference and her 111 total points scored are the best mark in the conference. Moreover, Oduho ranks 13
th in ppg in the MEC and second in total points scored (90).

Ridley is the main force down low for NDC and leads the team with 10.8 rebounds per game as the only Falcon north of 10 rpg. The senior currently ranks tied for third in the MEC with her team-leading rebounding mark.

On average for the season, Notre Dame has scored 69.8 ppg on 37.8% shooting from the floor. The Falcons have been outrebounded by 6.5 rpg and post a 0.5 assist to turnover ratio. In addition, NDC averages 36.2 rebounds per game, 8.8 assists per game and shoot 33.6% from three-point land.

Noting the Pioneers: No. 9Â Glenville State enters this week on a four-game win streak after playing just one game last week when they opened up Mountain East Conference play with a win over the University of Charleston, 94-71. The Pioneers led for the entirety of the contest as Re'Shawna Stone paced GSC with 17 points.

Stone has been the leading scorer on this Pioneer team as she averages 19.5 points per game. Stone's 19.5 ppg is currently the top mark in the MEC as she is a 58.2% shooter from the floor and carries a 41.7% clip from behind the arc. Zakiyah Winfield (17.7 ppg), Abby Stoller (11.3 ppg) and Mashayla Cecil (10.0 ppg) are the other Pioneers scoring in double figures.

Noting the Mountain Lions: Concord begins this week after winning their lone contest last week over West Virginia State, 75-69. Maggie Guynn led all scorers with a career-high 31 points on 12 of 15 shooting. Riley Fitzwater added 15 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks for the Mountain Lions during the win.

Maddie Ratcliff has paced the Mountain Lions on offense with 13.8 ppg this season, but she is joined by teammates Fitzwater (13.2 ppg) and Guynn (12.4 ppg) in a balanced three-headed scoring attack for CU. Ratcliff is the 16
th leading scorer in the MEC so far this season, as Fitzwater is the current leader in the conference with 14.2 rebounds per game and 3.0 blocks per game.
