COLUMBUS – On Tuesday, Notre Dame College wrestling battled one of the top Division I programs by going up against Ohio State University, in the Covelli Center. It was the Falcons' first dual meet of the season and their first time facing Ohio State in a dual since 2013.
Eight of the 10 wrestlers that the Buckeyes sent out onto the mat were ranked in the top 25 in Division I. Freshman
Cale Hoskinson totaled more points in his match than any other NDC grappler. He was fought for nine points, at 165 lbs., against No. 9 Carson Kharchla.
OSU advanced to 3-0 on the season with a 51-0 victory.
The Falcons have the weekend off and will prepare for the Lake Erie Open, in Painesville, Ohio, on Dec. 4.
