Game 2

Nicole Luciano then doubled to right field, scoring both runners. The next batter,
Maria Vanadia, hit a two-run homer to right center field, putting the Falcons up, 4-0.
Vanadia knew what she was looking for, based on the way she had been pitched all day.
"They were throwing me outside pitches all day," Vanadia mentioned. "I was looking outside and I saw the pitch that I wanted. I swung as hard as I could and hit my first outside (pitch) homerun ever."
Again,
Taylor Olson (11-11) went seven innings for Notre Dame and picked up the win. She did not allow a run and gave up five hits. Vanadia and Miller both went 2-for-3 in the game.

Head coach
Amy Kyler was happy with how the team played over the weekend, as they were more relaxed and were able to get some big outs.
"I gave the control to the girls, making them feel more accountable for what's going on, on the field," Kyler said. "They are a lot more relaxed and confident and we would like to keep this good temperament that we have, going."
The Falcons will stay at home and play a double-header with Lake Erie College on Tuesday, April 18. The first pitch for game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.
