2018: Redshirted.

2017: In 53 games, she hit .296 and led the team with 55 hits, 93 total bases, 25 runs scored, eight home runs and a slugging percentage of .500... Knocked in 19 RBI and had 14 doubles... Committed four errors and had a fielding percentage of .984... In the pitching circle, Kusmits led the team in earned run average (2.25) and opposing batting average (.274)... Finished with a record of 8-9 and had four complete games in 121.1 innings pitched... Finished the season tied for eighth in the MEC in doubles, fifth in home runs, tied for seventh in ERA and tied for first in games in relief (23).

High School: Participated in softball at Manchester High School.
