St. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 3 Notre Dame Falcons were able to beat the the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds, 35-10, but fell to the McKendree University Bearcats, 19-15 and the No. 4 Maryville University Saints, 21-12, on Sunday afternoon.
In the first dual of the day, Notre Dame took on McKendree. After
Ivan McClay beat Marcus Povlick at 125 lbs., with a 5-3 decision, the Falcons then lost the next four matchups.
In the 165 lbs. match,
Isaiah White defeated the Bearcats' Brock Wingbermuehle with a 8-2 decision, giving the Falcons three points.
Notre Dame's Courvoisier Morrow beat Christian Boyles, at 285 lbs., but it was not enough to pull the Falcons ahead of McKendree.

David Bavery pinned Joe Keiffer in the 133 lbs. match, giving the Falcons, six points.
At 149 lbs.,
Juwon Edmond pinned UIndy's Neal Molloy and
Isaiah White put the Falcons up by 29 points, as he was able to grab six points in his match, pinning JD Waters at 165 lbs.
Cobey Fehr (141 lbs.) and
Fernando Silva (157 lbs.) were both able to win with major decisions, giving NDC four points, each.

The Falcons took a 6-0 lead over Maryville in their final match of the day.
Ivan McClay (125 lbs.) and
Tyler Walker (133 lbs.) were able get Notre Dame going with back-to-back decisions.
However, Maryville would win the next three matchups. At 141 lbs., Nate Rodriguez would take down
Cobey Fehr with a decision but Notre Dame would also lose a point in the match with a foul.
At 165 lbs.,
Isaiah White would defeat Derrick Swaney with a tech. fall, giving NDC four points.
Seth Elwood then gave Notre Dame a 12-9 lead with a victory in the 174 lbs. match.
MU responded by scoring victories in the 184 lbs., 197 lbs. and 285 lbs. matchups to pull away from Notre Dame.
