FAYETTE, IA – Last Friday, the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association Top 25 poll was released with Notre Dame College ranking fourth, overall, with 50 points. The Falcons also had six individual wrestlers named to the top-12 in their weight class. (

Notre Dame, who was also ranked fourth in the preseason poll, is 13 points behind third place McKendree (63 points). St. Cloud State (72) is now in first place in the national poll while Cal Baptist (64) has moved up a spot to second place.
After winning the first two open meets this season at 285 lbs. and earning second place at the Findlay Open, sophomore 
Kameron Teacher was given 20 votes to take the top spot in his weight class. Teacher was the runner-up in the 285 lbs. bracket at the National Championship last year and was ranked second in the weight class by Amateur Wrestling News after the 2016-17 season.
In the 133 lbs. class, redshirt-senior 
Ivan McClay was given 13 votes and is currently ranked third in the class. At 157 lbs. sophomore 
Fernando Silva was given four votes and placed fourth in Division II at his weight. Freshman 
Antwon Pugh had a vote and was named 12th at 165 lbs. Junior 
Justan Rivera had 10 votes and was given the fifth place spot at 174 lbs. And sophomore 
Tony Vezzetti, who won the 184 lbs. class at the Findlay Open, was named 11th with two votes at his weight class.
The Falcons will take to the mat for The Storm Open in Painesville, Ohio on December 3.
