Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- The Notre Dame College softball team dropped a Mountain East Conference doubleheader to the host Charleston Golden Eagles on Monday afternoon, losing game one, 8-0, and game two, 9-0.

Monday's doubleheader at Charleston was the Falcons' second twin bill in as many days, both against MEC opponents. NDC was led by hits from Sarah Depp and Maria Vanadia; Shelby Stephens, Perris Stevens and Amy Hoover also recorded base hits for the Falcons on Monday.

However, the Golden Eagles offense proved more defiant. UC scored four first-inning runs in game one en route to an 8-0 victory. In game two, Charleston used a six-run third inning to prevail with a 9-0 win over NDC.

With the losses, the Falcons fall to 11-28 on the season, including a 5-17 mark in MEC play.

The Falcons return to action on Saturday, April 16 at home against Concord University in another MEC doubleheader. Game times ares scheduled for 1 pm and 3 pm at Normandy Field.
