Women's basketball drops road bout at Mercyhurst, 73-48

ERIE, Pa. -- The Notre Dame College women's basketball team dropped a Saturday afternoon non-conference matchup with the host Mercyhurst Lakers, 73-48, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The Falcons (0-2 overall) were led by Kim Cook, who scored 14 points while reeling in six rebounds. Cook also recorded one block and two steals while making two shots from beyond the arc as well.

Kelsey Miller also grabbed six rebounds while Seina Adachi scored 10 points - all of which came in the second half on 3-5 shooting. Terrina Robinson scored five points and reeled in four rebounds to help the Falcons' cause.

NDC returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 19 on the road against the West Liberty Hilltoppers in each team's first Mountain East Conference matchup of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 pm.
