Senior #Yvette Hunter# led four Falcons in double-figures with 20 points and nine rebounds, fellow classmate #Kealy McNally# added 17 points and six rebounds, while #Lauren Macer# and #Katie Stumphauzer# came off the bench to provide 11 and 10 points respectively as Notre Dame snapped a three-game losing streak and improved its record to 20-8 and 10-4 in conference play. The loss dips Wilberforce to 3-26 and 1-13. For Stumphauzer her 10 points came in six minutes of action on 4-for-4 shooting, including 2-for-2 from 3-point land, she also picked up three rebounds.
For head coach #Dick Deasy# the programs winningest coach (180-119) recorded his fifth 20 win season in the last seven years.
The Falcons forced 12 turnovers and hit 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) from the line while committing 12 turnovers.
Already up 33-27 with 5:18 remaining in the first half, the Falcons wasted no time putting the game away with a 11-0 run, capped off by a Hunter layup to put Notre Dame up 17 with 46 seconds remaining in the opening half. A #Santana Bonifant# jumper at the 7:52 mark of the second half gave Notre Dame its biggest lead 80-49.
Sophomore guard
Lauren Macer had another solid game with 11 points, three assists and two boards. Senior #Ashanti McLeod# provided nine points, #Erin Entighe# scored eight points and picked up two rebounds in seven minutes, and senior #Brittany Terry# provided a game high four assists and four rebounds for Notre Dame.
After a slow start, Notre Dame jumped out to a 31-19 lead in the first half behind a balanced scoring attack. McNally led all scorers with 13 while Hunter added 12 points and eight rebounds. McLeod capped off the opening 20 minutes with a pair of foul shots to put the Falcons up 46-29 at the break.
The Falcons shot 50.0 percent (19-for-28) from the field in the first half and made 4-of-4 at the line while Wilberforce made 32.4 percent (11-for-34) from the floor. Wilberforce's Amira Thomas and Andrecia Smith led the Bulldogs with six points at the half.
Notre Dame hits the road next week when they travel to Canton to take on the Pioneers of Malone University Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. ET.

COLD SNAP: The Falcons snapped their longest home losing streak since 2009 when they dropped games on Jan. 30, 31, and Feb. 7. Notre Dame snapped that streak with a 79-64 victory over Wilberforce, Feb. 11.
