Notre Dame (0-4) looks to get in the winning column when it travels to East Stroudsburg, Pa., for the 47
th Annual ESU Classic to face Concordia (1-3) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, and Georgian Court (0-4) for a 3 p.m. matinee tip Sunday Nov. 27. These will be the first meetings between the Falcons and the two schools on the hardwood.

THE MATCHUP
The Clippers, located in Bronxville, N.Y., are 1-3 on the season, recently lost to the Bears of New York Institute of Technology 86-71. Concordia, a member of the Central Athletic collegiate Conference, was 6-20 last season and only return two players and are under the direction of second-year head coach John DeSio. Those two returners, junior guard/forward Krystina Agard and senior forward Chanessa Blakemore are the only two players scoring in double figures. Agard a 5-foot-8 Queens, N.Y., native averaged nearly 36 minutes per game a year ago, leads the Clippers with 15.5 points-per-game while shooting a stellar 19-for-39 from the floor (.487 percent). The junior went a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor including 2-for-2 behind the 3-point line in the Clippers 81-61 win at Queens (N.Y.). Blakemore a 6-foot-1, Albany, N.Y., native comes into the contest with three consecutive double-doubles. After being held to a single point on 0-for-12 shooting and 1-for-5 from the line in the season opening loss at St. Rose, the senior forward has averaged 18 points and 15.66 rebounds though their last three games. For the season Blakemore leads the team with 14.2 rebounds per game while contributing a second best 13.8 points per contest.

THE MATCHUP
The Lions, located in Lakewood, N.J., are 1-2 on the season, recently defeated Mercy College 76-58 snapping a 32-game slide that dated back to February 13, 2010. Georgian Court, a member of the Central Athletic collegiate Conference, was 0-26 last season and returns seven players from that squad. While Jasmine Lewis scored 7.2 points per game a year ago as a starter, the 5-foot-1 sophomore guard now comes off the Lions bench with five new starters. Shauneia McPhearson dominated the box score with a season-high 28 points, shooting 10-for-22 from the floor and 7-for-8 from the line in 31 minutes in the Lions 76-58 win over Mercy. She also grabbed nine boards, tied with teammates Tahira Matthews and Brittany Baker. Matthews contributed her second consecutive quality performance adding 18 points in 29 minutes while Baker added seven points in 17 minutes.
November Fall
With a 0-4 start, Notre Dame has started the season 0-4 for the first time since the program had a first-year head coach. Coach
Katie Hine took charge of an NDC program that won 22 games a year ago after leading her alma matter, Wheeling Jesuit (W.Va.), to a 24-33 mark over the last two seasons in April 2011. That season (2001-02) was Dick Deasy's first of 10 seasons. Led by Mandy Felice (16.9 PPG, 9.5 RPG) and Karin Battle (10.3 PPG) the Falcons finished 6-22 overall. Just five seasons later Notre Dame went 25-7 finishing as the No. 21 team in the country and made their first trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
Adkins Finds Her Touch

Tiffany Adkins pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds in the Falcons 96-72 loss to Lake Erie. In that contest the 6-foot Massillon, Ohio, native pulled down nine defensive boards and one offensive board in that contest. After being shut out on the boards in her first career game, the first-year front court player, pulled down eight boards in back-to-back contests against GLIAC members, Findlay and Hillsdale (Mich.). Against Hillsdale Adkins combined her eight boards with a career best eight points on 2-for-3 from the floor and 4-for-4 at the foul line. The 6-foot forward is currently leading the Falcons with 6.5 rebounds-per-game.
Guards Dominate Early Scoring
Martha Nagbe,
Lauren Macer, and
Danielle Ledrich are among the early scoring leaders this season, all three have scored in double figures in at least two games. Ledrich a 5-foot-7 sophomore from New Philadelphia, Ohio, has scored double figures in her last three games and averages 8 points per game in 16.8 minutes per game off the bench. Macer a 5-foot-4 junior from Twinsburg, Ohio, scored a career high 19 points in the Falcons 58-42 loss to Findlay. As a sophomore in 2010-11, she scored a previous best, 16 points against Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.). Nagbe a 5-foot-7 freshman from Lakewood, Ohio, leads all scorers with 12.0 points per contest. The first-year guard netted a career best 16 points against Hillsdale (Mich.), Nov. 18. The following game playing in just her fourth game, Nagbe came off the bench to score 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting in 29 minutes of action. In addition to leading the team in scoring the 2011 graduate of Lakewood High School leads the team in assists (3.0) and ranks second in rebounding (5.0).
Youthful Bunch
Notre Dame features a young roster this season with just two seniors, three juniors, five sophomores, and six freshmen. Four Falcons –

Alex Dackin – have 90 career starts between them, with the other 10 players having just 13 combined. Aside from Macer (37 career starts), Clark (21), Wicks (17), and Dackin (15), the Falcons have just five other players in,

Martha Nagbe came off the bench to score a career high 21 points, hitting 8-of-10 shots, and Notre Dame fell to Lake Erie 96-72 on Sunday evening to fall to 0-4 on the young season. Redshirt-freshman

The Blue & White's bench, led by Nagbe and Ledrich outscored the Storm reserves 49-26, however Lake Erie, picked to finished last in the GLIAC South Division, exploded for an early 10 point lead before building the lead into a 96-72 victory as they turned the Falcons 25 turnovers into 26 points and converted their 17 offensive rebounds into 20 second chance points.
