NDC gets tossed by B-W

Losses continue to mount as Falcons get swept by Yellow Jackets

BEREA, Ohio -- Notre Dame was swept by Baldwin-Wallace on Wednesday. The Falcons lost by scores of 6-4 and 7-5 and have now dropped 13 of their last 14 games. (Gm-1 | Gm-2)

Notre Dame (7-14) struggled with their pitching and defense in dropping both ends of the twin bill played at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. The Falcons gave up 13 runs on 17 hits and five errors over the two games.

With the pair of home-field victories, Baldwin-Wallace (10-5) has now won four of its last five games. Former NDC player Megan Coyne (2008) had a big day for the Yellow Jackets. Coyne went 3-for-6 with two home runs and three RBIs.

#Charisse Colston# paced NDC in the losing effort; she went 2-for-5 with a double and a home run.

The Falcons have won just once since starting the season off by winning six of their first seven games. Since March 2, NDC is batting .232/.285/.309 (batting/on-base/slugging). The Falcon pitching staff has an ERA of 5.45 since that same date. In their 1-13 stretch, the Falcons have been outscored, 83-39.
