The pair of wins for Notre Dame (5-1) came on the heels of a 19-hit, 22-run barrage against Edward Waters on Sunday. The Falcons have now scored 72 runs in six games at the aptly-named Smash Hit Tournament hosted by the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).
Freshman third baseman Melissa Dykes went 6-for-9 in the two games. The Youngstown, Ohio, product knocked in seven runs on the strength of three doubles and her first collegiate home run. Dykes is batting .625 (15-for-24) through NDC's first half-dozen games this season and leads the squad with 13 RBIs.
#Mallory Harder# added five hits on the day; she went 4-for-4 with a double in Notre Dame's win over Findlay.
The Falcons are scheduled to play one more day in Savannah before heading to Mobile, Ala., for another tournament there.
