Nicole Clarke joined the Notre Dame College volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2023 season.
Prior to NDC, she was the head varsity volleyball coach at Harvey High School.
The Mentor, Ohio native attended Lake Catholic High School, where her team was a State Runner-Up and State Champion in 2009 and 2010, respectively.

After high school, she continued her education and volleyball career at the University of Mount Union. During her collegiate career, she was a part of the class that holds the most wins in a four-year span. The team won three Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles and made four NCAA appearances within the four years.Â

She was a three-year team captain, four-year All OAC selection, two-time OAC Player of the Year, two-time All-Great Lakes Region pick and three-time All-American selection.

After her undergraduate degree, she became the assistant coach at Mount Union for two years.

She earned her bachelor's degree in high school education - mathematics and her master's degree in educational leadership.Â
