Prior to NDC: A three-year letterman for Head Coach Shawn Stewart's Bears at Theodore Roosevelt High School...was the team's leading scorer with 14.7 PPG and 5.0 RPG his senior year...earned All Downriver League, All Area and All News Herald honors...a member of the National Honor Society and was named the Detroit Free Press's Scholar Athlete of the Year...also earned a pair of varisty letters in Football...son of Joe and Kelly Lavis...majoring in Pre-Law.
