SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College women's lacrosse team welcomed No. 13 ranked University of Indianapolis to Mueller Field for the Falcons' home opener. NDC brought the intensity right out of the gate, but the Falcons fell to the Greyhounds 18-4 on Wednesday afternoon.
Notre Dame kicked the match off with a haymaker, scoring within the first 10 seconds, as
Joselyn Storm secured the draw control before finding an open
Gwen Bogash for the goal. Storm picked up her third assist on the year, while Bogash tallied her eighth goal.
The Falcons registered a goal in the second period, when
Ella Scoville found Bogash on the advantage for her second goal of the game and ninth of the season.
Late in the third period, Storm scored her team-leading 13
th goal of the year, notching 100 career points in the process. She now has 74 goals and 26 assists over 40 career games played.
To begin the fourth quarter,
Tatum Hagen buried her second goal of the season.
On the day, Bogash led the offense with eight shots on goal and a pair of scores. Strom tallied a goal and an assist, while grabbing nine draw controls, causing three turnovers and picking up three ground balls.

The Notre Dame College women's lacrosse team will be back in action on Saturday March 16, when Walsh University comes to Mueller Field.
