FROSTBURG, Md. – For the second consecutive game, 11 Notre Dame College Falcons scored at least one point. NDC set a season-high in both points scored and field goal percentage (61.2-percent) in the 108-78 victory over Frostburg State University, on Wednesday.

Mark Richmond made several changes to the starting lineup and it paid off right away. Junior
Joshua Dames received a pass from freshman
Cameron Johnson and he knocked down a 3-pointer. Johnson would make a layup and junior
Trent Blackshire was open under the basket for a dunk. NDC led, 7-0, to begin the contest.
The Falcons continued to pour it on as junior
Gbolahan Adio and sophomore
Devin Haid hit back-to-back threes. Haid hit a layup to put the Falcons ahead by 13 points, 15-2, at the 16:03-mark in the first half.
Frostburg State fought back to the tune of a 12-3 run which made the score 18-14, in favor of the Falcons.
However, Notre Dame put its foot back on the gas pedal and led the game from start to finish. Immediately following the FSU run, Johnson grabbed an offensive rebound and put the ball in from close range. Frostburg then turned it over on three straight possessions, which included a steal by Dames and Johnson. A 7-0 run put the Falcons back in front by 11, 25-14.
The Bobcats cut the NDC lead down to one point, 38-37, with 2:27 to go before halftime. But, Notre Dame closed the half on a 12-2 run and senior
Trent Williams had eight of those points. To start the run, Williams knocked down back-to-back threes and he went 4-for-5 from long range in the first half, going into the break with 14 points in 11 minutes.
Williams would finish the game with a season-high 20 points, on 70-percent shooting from the field and six made 3-pointers.
At halftime, NDC led 50-39, which is the Falcons' highest scoring first half of the campaign. The Falcons shot the ball 21-for-35 (60-percent) from the field.
The second half was more of the same for the Falcons, who scored 58 points in the final 20 minutes. That is the most points scored by NDC in any half so far this season. They also shot 62.5-percent from the field, as a team, to go along with 14 made free throws.
Adio put a three through the hoop to open up NDC's scoring in the second stanza. Dames hit layups on back-to-back possessions and the NDC lead swelled to 15 points, 58-43.
Haid knocked down a jumper and Notre Dame pushed the lead over 20 points, 74-53, for the first time in the contest, with 12:13 remaining in the game. Over the next eight minutes, Frostburg kept the deficit around the 20-point mark, even cutting the NDC lead down to 15 points.
Freshman
Aidan Filippini saw action in his first game of the season and he scored his first collegiate point, at the free throw line, with 2:59 on the clock. That put the Falcons up by 24, 98-74.
Another Williams three put NDC over 100 points, 101-76, with 2:24 to go.
Adio added nine points to his total in the second half and he finished the game with 15 points and tied his career-high with seven assists. Johnson had eight second half points to tie his career-high of 12 total points.
Dames finished with 12 points and a season-high six rebounds in his first start of the season, while Blackshire finished with a season-high in points, with 10. Freshman
Gio Moore, who had played just five total minutes this season, played six minutes on Wednesday and scored six points.
Haid ended the game with 11 points and Harris added 10.
As a team, Notre Dame had 49 bench points and 44 points in the paint. The Falcons outrebounded the Bobcats, 40-23. NDC's 61.2-percent shooting performance is the fifth highest percentage in a game in program history. NDC also had its second highest three-point percentage of the season (42.9) and second most assists in a contest (24).
Notre Dame will be in the Murphy Gymnasium, on Jan. 20, for a 4 p.m. start against Fairmont State.
