SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – On Sunday, Notre Dame College was rolling right away, scoring 10 goals in the first quarter and finishing the contest with a program record 27 goals. Five Falcons scored at least three goals as NDC defeated West Virginia Wesleyan College, 27-0.
At halftime, Notre Dame's seniors were honored at midfield.

Nia Griffith have combined to become one of the most decorated senior classes in program history.
In the first quarter of the contest, Notre Dame won seven draw controls, took 21 shots and 15 shots on goal, to go along with its 10 goals.
After a short battle for the ball, Vari won the first draw control and NDC was off and running. After two shots were off the target, Dano passed to Kincaid for the first goal of the game.
Dano finished the game with five assists, to go along with two goals. That was her season-high and the fourth time in her career she had at least five assists in a game. Dano is now five away from the program's career record of 72.
Notre Dame won the first six draw controls of the game. Mashore picked up a groundball, after a saved shot, and scored the second goal. Vari scored the third goal, assisted by Dano.

Piper Hammond, Johnson and Flanagan all scored a goal. Carson had two assists and Mashore had one in the record breaking first quarter.
Since women's lacrosse switched to quarters in 2022, Notre Dame had not scored more than nine in one stanza.
Notre Dame's first goal of the second quarter was scored with 14:31 to go in the half and the Falcons scored all six of their goals prior to the 5-minute mark. Kincaid had the first goal of the quarter and the last one. At halftime, Notre Dame led 16-0 and had taken 22 shots on goal.
The Falcons continued to pour it on, putting the ball into the net seven times in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, sophomore
Grace Nickoloff scored her only goal of the game and freshman
Carlie Wilson had a career-high three goals, scoring all of them over a six-minute span in the final quarter.
Flanagan finished with a season-high four goals. Kincaid, Johnson, Vari and Wilson all scored three times. Storm, Dano, Mashore and Hammond each had two. Carson added a career-high three assists, while Rotter and Scoville each had two assists. Carson and Scoville won four draws, while Kincaid and Rotter each had three draw controls.
On the defensive side, Lopez totaled a career-high four caused turnovers, London added a career-high three caused turnovers.
In single-game NDC records, Notre Dame had the most goals, most total points (43) and tied for the most assists (16) in a contest. The team set a season-high with 47 shots, 37 shots on goal, 19 caused turnovers and 20 draw controls. The Falcons were 12-for-12 on clear attempts.
Notre Dame stays home this week, to take on Davis & Elkins College, on April 19. First draw is scheduled for 3 p.m.
