BUCKHANNON, W.Va. –
Jamira Mashore scored four goals and dished out four assists in a 24-2 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan College. Eight Falcons scored multiple goals and the 24 total goals is the most by NDC since April 22, 2022, against W.Va. Wesleyan.
Notre Dame did everything well right out of the gate. In the first five minutes of the contest, the Falcons won three draw controls and scored three goals. Mashore scored the first goal and the third goal and she was credited with the assist on the second goal of the game.
The Falcons caused six turnovers in the first quarter and led 5-1 after 15 minutes. By the six minute-mark in the second quarter, Notre Dame already had a ten-goal lead. To start the second stanza, senior
McKenna Kincaid scored her first goal of the season, as did sophomore
Lexington Carson. With 6:56 remaining, a free position goal by sophomore
Joselyn Storm gave NDC an 11-1 advantage.
The Falcons outscored WVWC 8-0 in the second stanza. Mashore assisted on the final two goals of the half and went into halftime leading, 13-1.
NDC put up six more goals in the third quarter. The Falcons scored five of those goals in the final eight minutes and each goal had a different scorer. Junior

Grace Nickoloff and freshman
Ella Scoville all scored.
Mashore scored her fourth and final goal with 14:01 to go in the fourth quarter and she finished just outside of the top ten in NDC history with eight total points. Wilson scored the final goal of the game and finished with a career-high three goals.
Twelve of the 24 NDC goals had an assist credited to it. On the defensive side, Notre Dame has now caused 14 turnovers in back-to-back games.
The Falcons won 18 draw controls with Scoville leading the way, and setting a career-high, with 10. Sophomore
Piper Hammond won a career-high of eight.
Lisy also had a career-high two goals along with two assists. Kincaid and senior
Megan Dano both had two goals and two assists, each. Storm scored a season-high three times and Nickoloff finished with a career-high three goals. Scoville scored the first goal of her career.
Notre Dame will head to Elkins, W.Va. for a matchup with Davis & Elkins College, on March 30. First draw is scheduled for 1 p.m.
