In the bottom of the third, sophomore
Katelyn DeWeese singled to lead off the inning. After Frostburg State's pitcher, Sydney Theobald, got two outs with a fielder's choice and a strikeout, NDC put together a rally. Marsh drew a walk, and with runners on first and second, Maciejowski hit an RBI single. Senior

Over the next three innings, Frostburg State only had one player reach scoring position, while NDC had two.
As the teams went to extra innings, FSU plated one run in the top of the eighth. Jayla Hill singled to lead off the inning and moved to second on an error. Powell hit an RBI ground-rule double to give her team the lead. With runners on first and third and nobody out, NDC's
Madison Olszewski entered the game to pitch, and got out of the jam.
The Falcons had runners on second and third base in the bottom half of the eighth, but could not tie the game.
Allison Weilnau (3-6) suffered the loss, but pitched seven strong innings for Notre Dame, allowing one earned run and struck out four batters. Freshman
Meadow Nardone entered the contest behind the plate in the second inning and got her first career base hit in the eighth inning.
The offense was tough to come by for both teams in game two. The two teams combined for five runs and seven hits.
Frostburg State struck first with an RBI single in the second inning, and NDC tied the game at one in the bottom of the inning. In the second, Maciejowski singled for her fourth hit in her fourth plate appearance of the day. Nardone walked and two batters later, freshman
Ella Collinsworth singled down the right field line to score a run.
In the top of the third, the Bobcats loaded the bases and Katie Ernst doubled to the wall in right field to clear the bases. That would be all FSU needed, and only one more hit was recorded the rest of the game by either team.
