Emileigh Scott led Notre Dame College on Saturday, finding the back of the net twice. No. 10 ranked Grand Valley State University grabbed a big lead after one quarter and won by a score of 16-4.
After GVSU put the first three goals on the scoreboard, sophomore

Joselyn Storm for the first NDC goal of the contest. After one quarter, Grand Valley State led 8-1. Sophie Conroy had five goals for the Lakers in the first and would finish the game with six.
Notre Dame's sophomore
Charlotte Vari took the first shot of the second quarter, but it went wide. Later in the quarter, Scott converted on a free-position shot and gave the Falcons their second goal with 2:54 remaining before halftime.
To start the third quarter, GVSU's Kaylyn Cater made the save but the Falcons were able to get the ball back. Junior
Megan Dano was fouled and scored on a free-position shot, making the score 13-3.
Storm then caused a turnover and the Falcons took possession. Scott scored her second goal of the game, with 10:04 to go in the third. NDC outscored Grand Valley State 2-1 in the third quarter.
Notre Dame totaled a season-high 17 ground balls with freshman

Mackenzie Levine and Storm finishing with three, each.
NDC comes home and will play two games next week. On Wednesday, the Falcons will host No. 17 Roberts Wesleyan College. The start time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
