SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Sophomore 
Louisa Follert generated the sixth hat trick in program history as Notre Dame College (7-7-4, 6-6-4 MEC) soars past Alderson Broaddus University (1-13-3, 1-13-2 MEC) 5-1 on Senior Day. Seniors

The Falcons got the action started early with a sixth minute goal by Follert, her third of the season. Junior 
Madison Marino tallied her first assist of the year on the play.
 
In the 20
th minute, Follert got loose and scored her second goal of the match (2-0), marking her fourth career multi-goal game.
 
The Battlers cut the Falcon lead in half on a broken play goal in the 36
th minute (2-1).
 
Right before the break, 
Zita Chao Lara made the most of her senior day by heading in her first career goal on a set piece by 
Blake Allen (3-1). For Allen, it is her second assist on the year.
 
Notre Dame continued their offensive pursuit in the 56
th minute, as Follert netted her historic third goal of the game. The Dortmund, Germany native is the sixth player in NDC program history to achieve the feat, and the first player since Alexis Manoa on Oct. 8, 2017. Marino dished out the assist on the play, marking a new career-high with two assists in the match.
 
Three minutes later, Marino jumped in on the scoring action, by netting her team leading seventh goal of the year. Sophomore 
Meredith Foster logged her first assist of the season after a perfect through ball found the boot of Marino.
 
In the 61
st minute, goalkeeper 
Jordan Pasalaqua tallied her only save of the match as the Notre Dame defense allowed only two shots on net the entire contest.
 
Offensively, Follert posted six shots, including five on target, while Chao Lara and Marino each shot the ball three times.
 
Notre Dame outshot Alderson Broaddus 16-7, including 11-2 on goal. NDC worked seven corner kicks to AB's one, as the Battlers recorded six saves to the Falcons one.
 
The Notre Dame College women's soccer team will be back in action on Tuesday Nov. 1 when the Falcons travel to Fairmont State University for the Quarterfinal Round of the Mountain East Conference Tournament. NDC enters the postseason as the No. 3 seed in the MEC North Division. Kick-off time is to be announce.
