SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The Notre Dame College women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Frostburg State on Sunday despite out-shooting the Bobcats 19-7.
NDC had the offense going in both halfs with four shots on goal in each of the 45-minute spans. But the FSU goalkeeper, Stephanie Vigezzi, stopped each of the shots that came her way.Â
The Falcons were able to apply a lot of pressure with 13 corner kicks compared to Frostburg State's one, but the Bobcats were able to convert on two of their three shots on goal to win.Â
Leading the attack for NDC was
Alyssa Soltis, who took four shots, including three on goal. Soltis now has a shot-on-goal percentage of .500 this season.Â
Notre Dame will travel to Urbana on Thursday, October 3, for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.Â
