Records: Notre Dame is currently 3-8 and 0-2 in the Mountain East Conference. WVWC is 5-5-1 overall, and 0-1 in the conference. Shepherd holds a record of 5-4 and 1-0 in the MEC while Wheeling Jesuit is 3-9 and 1-1 in the MEC.
Coaches Corner: Pam Jenkins is in her second season as head coach at NDC and holds a record of 5-18 (0-7 MEC). Hannah Lively is the coach for West Virginia Wesleyan and led the Bobcats to a record of 4-11 (2-3 MEC) last season. Jenny Cavey is in her third season as head coach of Shepherd and has a 20-25 overall record and a 9-4 MEC record. Tim Florence is in his seventh season at the helm of WJU and led the Cardinals to a 10-7 (5-0 MEC) record last season.

Series History: The Falcons are 4-3 against West Virginia Wesleyan since 2011, against Shepherd the Falcons are 2-5 since 2010 and they are 2-3 versus Wheeling Jesuit since 2013.
Noting the Falcons: Notre Dame went 0-2 in their two road games last week against Charleston and UVa-Wise.
Taylor Henderson led the team with four goals over the two games. NDC looks to get their first conference win of the season in one of their final three games of the season. Against UVa-Wise, goalkeeper
Morgan Belting had 14 saves. Henderson leads the team in goals with 23 and
Selena Carter is second with 21.
Bailey Reardon is first on the team with 19 caused turnovers.
Noting the Bobcats: West Virginia Wesleyan did not have a game last week, after their game with Edinboro was cancelled. Their last conference game they played was a 14-11 loss against Shepherd on April 15. In their lone game last week, both Natalie Schaffner and Madison Duvall each scored three goals and Hannah Antonelli posted four goals. Goalkeeper Gabrielle Cleaveland recorded 18 saves. WVWC leads the conference in assists-per-game with 5.33. Antonelli leads the team with 38 goals and 50 points while Schaffner leads the Bobcats with 19 assists.
Noting the Rams: In Shepherd's two games last week, the Rams lost to Millersville by a score of 18-4 and then beat W.Va. Wesleyan, 14-11. In their loss to Millersville on April 9, Shepherd was held to 13 shots and Lillian Funke led the way with two goals. Sarah Wendt recorded five ground balls. Elishia Davis had four goals in their 14-11 wins on April 15 and Wendt won eight draw controls. Casey Hickman grabbed 13 saves in the win. SU takes 31.33 shots-per-game, which is highest in the MEC. Funke is at the top of team with 27 goals and in caused turnovers with 12.
Noting the Cardinals: Wheeling Jesuit lost to the University of Virginia-Wise by a score of 14-10 on April 13 and then Charleston 19-18 on April 15. After leading 6-4 at halftime, the Cavaliers outscored the Cardinals 10-4 in the second half. The loss was their first conference defeat since 2015. Paige Orbell scored four goals and Brianna Wahle recovered seven ground balls. On April 15, WJU snuck past Charleston by one goal from Hayley Holmquist with two seconds remaining. Holmquist had six goals in the game and Kori Hickman had four. Elizabeth Hanks recorded 12 saves. Orbell leads the team with 35 goals and Lyndsay Carpenter has 18 caused turnovers, which also leads the team. Elizabeth Hanks has 99 saves on the season.
