The Falcons (5-8) battled a spirited Tiffin squad through a see-saw first half in which Tiffin (1-12) battled from four and six goal deficits in the opening half before Notre Dame pulled away for a comfortable victory.
"Tonight was a good win," said Head Coach Torrey McGowan. "It is really nice to see the offense hitting its stride at this point in the season."
Notre Dame jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the opening 5:40 on goals by
Allison Merten,
Kelly Matthewman (2), and
Kristen Hull.
Elyse Braun responded 30 seconds after Hull's goal to put the Dragons on the board ending the Falcons run but Merten then started a 3-0 run for the Falcons that extended NDC's lead to a commanding 7-1 advantage.
Tiffin then used nearly eight minutes to string together a 5-0 run as the Dragons came within one (7-6) when Braun scored her fourth of the night – 25
th of the season at the 8:56 mark.
Sixty seconds later Merton scored her third of the night – 19
th of the season for a two goal cushion for the home side.
Kaitlin Clarke and Alexandria Quast scored three minutes apart as Tiffin tied the game at eights with 3:51 left in the half.

Hayley Hodyno followed by Matthewman's 20
th goal of the season gave the Falcons an 11-8 lead at the break.
Through the opening 30 minutes the Falcons held a decisive 24-9 lead in shots, but the Dragons' keeper, Jessica Bombard made nine saves. Notre Dame also held a 15-5 lead in draw controls and a 6-2 lead in ground balls. Tiffin turned the ball over nine times while NDC made just four. The first period also featured four yellow cards, as Tiffin and Notre Dame had two players a piece shown the caution.

nd career goal when 30 seconds elapsed as the sophomore from Okemos, Mich., expanded the Falcons lead to 12-8
Tiffin scored a pair nearly four minute a part to stay get back within two (12-10) when Kaitlin Clarke netted her 13
th of the year with 20:59 remaining.

Madalyn Dewling scored back-to-back goals 50 seconds apart, the second coming courtesy of
Kristen Hull as the Notre Dame opened up a 14-10 lead with 18:37 left in regulation.
Alexandria Quast scored her 63
rd of the season followed by a goal by Kalie Weinheimer at the 15:39 mark as Tiffin fought to within two (14-12).
Madalyn Dewling scored her fourth of the evening with 11 minutes remaining. That goal by the Atlanta, Ga., native started a 5-0 run by Notre Dame accentuated by back-to-back goals by Matthewman that gave the Falcons a 19-12 lead with 6:53 left.
Kristen Hull scored her team-leading 40
th goal of the season sandwiched between goals by Alexis MacMillan for a final 20-14 win for Notre Dame.
Notre Dame took 44 goals, 36 on target while Jessica Bombard made a game-high 16 saves.
Audi King and
Madalyn Dewling combined for 15 draw controls as the Falcons held a 28-9 advantage through regulation. Notre Dame went 9-for-10 on clear attempts while Tiffin converted 14-of-18.
