Kelsey Coleman has been Notre Dame’s best hitter on the field this season…she earned First Team All Mountain East Conference Accolades, after hitting .392 on the season, sixth best in the conference, and she led the MEC with 69 hits on the year…Coleman’s 20 doubles were also a high water mark in the conference, her 45 RBI’s were second most in the MEC circuit, and she was far and away the leader in the MEC with 122 total bases throughout the year…off the field, Kelsey has been involved in a lot of community service, including leaf raking for the elderly, volunteering at annual food drives, and she played an instrumental role in the softball team’s efforts to raise more than $700 for make the Make-A-Wish foundation.
