David Souza has been excellent in the pool this season. He is near the front in every 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle that he has competed in this season, including several victories. He is a major part of the men’s 800 Freestyle Relay team that finished with the third fastest time in school history, in day one of the 2017 Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships (7:14.85). Souza, a senior, has excelled in the classroom, as well, as he has maintained a 3.6 GPA as a Management Information Systems major.
