October Student-Athlete Of The Month

Emily Balodis, a senior from Cleveland, Ohio, holds a 3.81 grade point average and is Majoring in Theology with a minor in Adult/Young Education. Balodis has started all 17 games for the Falcons this season. Balodis has captained the side to a record 16 victories and a Mountain East Conference regular season Championship. In addition as the heart of the Falcon defense she has helped the team to achieve 14 shutouts this season, which places the Falcons third in the nation for shutout percentage.

Balodis is an active member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council was a 2012 -13 recipient of the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award and has been named to the dean's list all six semesters of her attendance at Notre Dame College.
