On February 11, McClay swept his three duals at 125 lbs. in the Maryville Duals. NDC beat Maryville, Indianapolis and McKendree. In the Division II Super Regional on February 23 and 24, the redshirt-senior helped the Falcons win their second consecutive East Region title. After receiving a first round bye in the first round, he beat wrestlers from Millersville, Mercyhurst and Seton Hill. In the National Championship, he was ranked second in the nation at 125 lbs. He lost in quarterfinals, but then went 4-0 in the consolation bracket to take third place. He beat Brett Velasquez (St. Cloud State) in the third place match. He is currently majoring in Integrated Social Studies with a GPA of 3.54.
