Brandon Gambrell had a few incredible performances in the Bob Kahn Invitational on April 8. On top of the men’s track and field team taking first place, Gambrell finished in second place in long jump. He was also a part of the 4x100 and 4x400 teams who each took first place. In the Sparky Adams Invitational, on April 22, the junior had a jump of 6.57m in long jump, bringing home third place. At the Mountain East Conference Championships, Gambrell won the long jump event, finishing with an effort of 7.17m. The native of Winston-Salem, N.C. holds a GPA of 3.5 and studies communication.
