Paul Ashby was named head coach of the Notre Dame College men's bowling program on June 8, 2015.
As the head coach of the Falcons, Ashby led NDC to a third place finish at USBC Intercollegiate Sectional Championships in 2016 and a National Championship appearance that same year.
In 2017, Casey Cohagen and Ryan Ashby competed in the Intercollegiate Singles Championship (ISC)Â at the USBCÂ Championships in Baton Rouge, La.
Also in 2017, the team was ranked sixth in the country by collegebowling.com. The team qualified to compete at the Intercollegiate Team Championships in Baton Rouge, La. The appearance marked the fourth time in five years that the Falcons had made it to Nationals.
In 2021, Conner Novak tied for fourth at Sectionals and qualified for the ISC. He finished in the top-8 at the singles championship.
Ashby brings a wealth of knowledge and a background of 30-plus years in bowling. He also was a former competitor on the Professional Bowling Association (PBA) tour.
Ashby resides in Mentor, Ohio.
