Emily Schwabenbauer was named Director of Athletics for NCAA Compliance and NCAA Senior Woman Administrator in February 2024, after holding the title of Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at Notre Dame College for two years.
She joined the Notre Dame College staff in August 2019 as Manager of Events and Operations. She was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director - Operations in August 2021 and then moved into the role of Associate Athletic Director - Operations/Senior Woman Administrator in June 2022.
In her role, she oversees gameday operations on campus as well as maintaining Mueller Field, Normandy Field and Murphy Gymnasium. She also keeps records of team travel arrangements and team practice schedules.
Schwabenbauer graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor's degree in sports studies and is now pursuing a Master of Business Administration. She interned at the Cleveland Sports Commission and the Notre Dame College Athletic Department.
