2018-19: Named All-American... Defeated No. 9 Angelo Robles, of UIndy, by decision against UIndy at the Maryville Duals... Pinned Jared Ford (Urbana) and Ryan Skonieczny (Findlay) in order to get to the final match, where he upset Jared Donahue (Wheeling Jesuit) by decision to win the 141 lbs. bracket at Regionals... Won four of his five matches by major decision in the National Tournament... Upset Isaiah Royal (Newberry) by major decision (16-5) in the 141 lbs. first place match for an Individual National Championship.

Prior to NDC: Wrestled at Ohio State... An NCAA Qualifier and Big 10 place winner... Ranked as high as eight in NCAA Division I... Finalist at the Las Vegas Invitational, Michigan State Open and Edinboro Open... Champion of the Purple Raider Open.

High School: Participated in wrestling at Massillon-Perry High School... Qualified for States, all four years... Won two State Championships (2013, 2015)... Runner-up at the 2014 state tournament... NHSCA Champion (2013)... NYS Runner-Up (2012)... Finalist at Iron Man (2013) and at the Beast of the East (2013)... Placed third at Fargo, becoming an All-American (2013)... Took fourth at the Super 32 and was named an All-American (2013).

Personal: Son of Maribel and Jose Rodriguez... Majoring in business management.
