Biography

2020-21: Wrestled at 184 lbs. at the MEC Championships and pinned Ryan Weitz (Alderson Broaddus)... Moved to 197 lbs. in the NCAA Super Regional 3 Tournament and defeated Enrst Lavaud (Ohio Valley) and Bernell Bennett (Wheeling) by fall, advancing to the consolation semifinals.

2018-19: Runner-up at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open... Took fifth place at the Findlay Open.

High School: Participated in wrestling at Brandon High School... Placed at the state tournament all four years, winning two State Championships and taking three All-American honors.

Personal: Son of Rosalia and Joel Marcano Sr... Majoring in criminal justice.
