Hunter Bray joined the wrestling coaching staff prior to the 2020-21 season.
Bray had a tremendous wrestling career as a student-athlete at Notre Dame College. Wrestling at 133 lbs., Bray was a two-time All-American. He finished third at both the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament and National Tournament in 2019. He was ranked No. 1 in the country at 133 and took first place at the Super Regional 3 Tournament in 2020.
Also in the 2019-20 campaign, the native of Franklin, Ohio took Academic All-American and Super Region 3 Wrestler of the Year honors. Bray placed first at 133 in the inaugural Mountain East Conference Tournament and was named First Team All-MEC and Most Outstanding Wrestler. He later added MEC Wrestler of the Year to his collection.
