Morgan Harkness was named the new Graduate Assistant Coach for the Notre Dame College men’s and women’s swim team prior to the 2019-20 season.
Harkness joined Notre Dame after a successful four-year career at Emmanuel College. She specialized in distance events, specifically the 1000-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle. The highlight of her career was being a part of two conference championship teams during her junior and senior seasons.
She brings in a variety of experience having coached group swimmers since 2014.
Harkness graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education on May 4, 2019 and she was a Cum Laude graduate from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. She is currently obtaining her Masters of Education degree at Notre Dame
