Biography

2014: Finished the season with 17 assists, third most on the team, and came away with 24 goals, tied for fourth most on the squad...played and started all 14 games, and added 17 ground balls as well as four caused turnovers. 

Prior to NDC: A 2011 graduate of North Canton Hoover High School … earned three varsity letters for coach Jeff McCann in lacrosse, also played volleyball and golf for the Vikings … a two-time team captain, scored 91 career goals … earned Division III First Team All-Ohio while scoring 25 goals in her first season … scored 27 goals, made 16 assists and 21 draw controls leading North Canton Hoover to the Division III State Finals … finished career leading the Vikings to a second straight State Finals appearance with 39 goals, 13 assists, and 30 draw controls while earning Division III First Team All-Ohio, First Team All-District, and All-Academic Team. 

Personal: Allison Jean Merten … born February 13, 1993 … daughter of Paula and Larry Merten ... Grandfather, William Owens played football at Colgate University.
