Macie Hysell was named Notre Dame College women's golf head coach in August 2020.
Hysell returns to NDC after a very successful career as a student-athlete with the Falcons. The native of Ravenna, Ohio became the first player in program history to be named Mountain East Conference Player of the Year after the 2018-19 campaign. She also took home three All-MEC First Team Honors and one All-MEC Second Team Honor.
A captain during her time with the Falcons, Hysell had a lot of success in the postseason. She helped Notre Dame win the MEC Team Championship as a sophomore before winning an Individual MEC Championship as a junior. She also placed in the top-10 at the MEC Championship all four years of her career which included first place (2018) and second place (2019).
She graduated from Notre Dame College with a degree in sports management.
