Dave Johnson was named Coordinator of Bowling Operations/head women's bowling coach in June 2023.
Johnson has been the women's bowling coach with Hilliard Bradley High School since 2018, leading the team to three Ohio Capital Conference Division Championships. In addition, Johnson coached the Ohio State University club women's bowling team in 2021 and 2022, navigating the team to the National Collegiate Club Championship, while garnering the Ohio Bowlers Conference women's coach of the year award.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Johnson has been involved with the sport of bowling since the age of seven as he grew up in a family of avid bowlers. He has competed in several ABC and USBC National Tournaments, posting a high game of 299 and a high three-game series of 777.
He stepped away from the sport for more than a decade to focus on his career and family. Upon returning as a high school bowling coach, he discovered his passion for helping the youth.
Johnson also volunteers with various Central Ohio Youth and Scholarship committees. He is excited to begin his tenure with the NDC women's bowling program where his philosophy will be, "positive thoughts equals positive shots."
