Lexi Hassing joined Notre Dame College's women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in May 2023, joining newly appointed head coach Lauren Macer.
Before joining the Falcons, Hassing worked as an assistant women's basketball coach at Kenyon College. A high academic Division III institution in Gambier, Ohio.
This is Hassing's third college coaching position. Before her time at Kenyon, she served as an assistant women's basketball coach at Baldwin Wallace University, an NCAA Division III institution in Berea, Ohio. During the 2021-22 season that Hassing assisted the Yellow Jackets, a team that posted a 23-5 record and claimed a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference regular-season title with a 15-3 conference record before winning the OAC Tournament. BWU finished the season ranked 10th nationally and made a run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA DIII Tournament.
She earned a psychology degree in 2016 from Notre Dame College, where she played on the Falcons women's basketball team for four years. In 2020, Hassing earned her master's degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University.
