Green joined the women's basketball program in June 2021.
As an assistant coach last season at the University of Detroit Mercy, Green worked with the guards as their position coach and conducted player development. She supervised the team’s budget, the travel responsibilities and coordinated academic meetings.
Prior to Detroit Mercy, Green was the Director of Basketball Operations at The College of William & Mary. There, she managed the budget for the women’s basketball program and coordinated travel. William & Mary put together a 21-8 record in the 2019-20 season, including a 12-6 mark in Colonial Athletic Association play. They were set to be the three seed in the conference tournament before it was canceled due to COVID-19.
Her first stop in the college ranks came at Oberlin College in the 2018-19 campaign, where she was an assistant coach responsible for player development and leading guard workouts. In addition to working with the guards, Green oversaw the team’s speed and agility workouts. That season, Oberlin women’s basketball had an overall record of 15-11, with a 10-6 conference record, earning a spot in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.
As a student-athlete, Green played basketball at East Carolina University and Hampton University. She was a team captain and helped Hampton win a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament Championship in the 2016-17 season. The Pirates earned a bid to the NCAA Division I Tournament that season. Academically, she was named MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic in 2016 and 2017 and made the Dean’s List in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Green graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts, Strategic Communication and a Master of Science, Sports Administration.
