Stuart Ford, a Cleveland native, joined the men’s soccer staff at Notre Dame College in August 2018.
Previously, Stuart was a starting goalkeeper at the University of Kentucky in Conference USA where he started every game in 2016, helping the wildcats to amass a 11-5-3 record.
Prior to UK, Ford was a standout goalkeeper for St. Edwards High School and played his club soccer in the area for Everest SC and Cleveland Blues during his developmental years. He played under head coach Carl Nolan while on the Blues.
Ford will be responsible for training the Notre Dame College goalkeepers as well as assisting in all aspects of the program.
“I have known Stuart as a junior level player for many years," Nolan said. "To see him go on to the University of Kentucky and do great things is very pleasing. To have Stuart back in the area and on staff is a great hire for us and we look forward to what he’ll bring to the program.”
