Pat Svihlik will begin his first season with the NDC Men’s Soccer Program in 2014.
Svihlik comes to Notre Dame after spending two seasons as an Assistant with the Ohio Northern University Men’s Soccer Program. Before coaching at Ohio Northern University, he was an assistant coach at Marietta University.
Svihlik was a two-year letterman on Walsh’s soccer team before an injury forced him to transition from a player to the role of a student assistant for his final two seasons. Svihlik’s coaching experience is not exclusive to college soccer; he has also served Assistant Technical Director for Jackson Select Soccer Club. He has continued his development as a coach, earning his NSCAA National and State Goalkeeping Diplomas as well as his USSF C License.
A native of Broadview Heights, Ohio, Svihlik received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Walsh in 2007. He also earned his Masters in Education from Walsh in 2010.
