Jake Cooper

Coach Cooper enters his 4th season with the Falcons.The NDC men's soccer program is 38-17-2 during Cooper’s time with the program. 

The 2015 Falcons were 13-7 and qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament. Cooper also led the Development Team to a 6-1-1 record.

In 2014, the Falcons were 10-6-2 and qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament. Cooper also led the Development Team to a 3-0-1 record.

In 2013, the Falcons were 14-2 and Mountain East Conference regular season champions and qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament to finish the season 15-4. The Falcons were ranked as high as No. 4 in the country.

Prior to NDC, Cooper coached high school soccer for 13 seasons at Orange High School and Nordonia High School. While at Orange, Cooper won two CVC League Championships, which were the first two in school history.

In 2005, Cooper was named Cleveland Division II Boys Public School Coach of the Year. In 2006, Cooper led Orange High School to the State Regional Semi-Finals, which is the farthest in school history, and was named Public School Coach of the Year by the News Herald. In 2011, Cooper led Nordonia High School to a 12-5-1 record, which is the best in school history.

During his high school coaching tenures, four of his players earned All-Ohio nominations. Cooper still holds the school record at Orange with 91 victories and is the only coach in Nordonia history with a winning record.

In January 2014, Cooper earned his USSF “A” License and holds a NSCAA Premier Diploma and NSCAA Regional Goalkeepers License.

Cooper earned a B.A. in Physical Education from John Carroll University in 1998 and works as the Head Personal Trainer at a local Tennis Facility.

Cooper resides in Solon with his wife and children.
