Dale Linville

Dale Linville began his playing career in 1981 at the University of Cincinnati. He began his coaching career in 1987, the same year he joined Division I men's club, the Cincinnati Wolfhounds.

Linville became the head coach at the University of Cincinnati, where he coached for five years until work obligations forced him to give up the position. In 1994, he was one of the founding members of the Cincinnati Kelts RFC.

In 1997, Linville was moved to Cleveland by his employers, and he joined the Cleveland Rovers RFC. In 1999, he was elected as the new head coach of the Rovers, a position he held for 18 years.

Linville has a Level II coaching certificate from USA Rugby, as well as select side experience as a player.
