Mark Weymer was hired as the Notre Dame College men's golf head coach in August 2020. He will be entering his third season in the position.
In 2021, Tyler Andersen took All-MEC Honorable Mention as a freshman after he finished t-15th at the MEC Fall Championship.
In Weymer's first season as head coach in the 2020-21 season, Jimmy Graham was named All-MEC Honorable Mention, becoming the first golfer on the men's program to be given All-MEC honors since 2015-16.
Weymer played golf and basketball at Mathews High School and was a multi-letter winner. He attended Saint Francis University to study physical therapy, before continuing on with degrees at Kent State University. During his time at Kent State, Weymer developed a true passion for the biomechanical and kinesthetic motion of the golf composition.
In 2015, he started formal training through the Titleist Performance Institute, better known as TPI. Shortly after, he began training and working with student-athletes in the Trumbull/Mahoning Valley to pursue their dreams of playing collegiate golf.
Weymer has always been an avid golfer and fan of the game. His interest in golf began while caddying in the McDonald's LPGA Classic at the age of 11.
He currently lives in Fairview Park, Ohio with his wife Jaclyn. He holds a Bachelor's degree in health sciences and Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant.
